“Bogotá Humana”, the new logo that was recently launched by the Alcaldía Mayor de Bogotá, presents Bogotá as a more inclusive and more humane city. This comes as an echo to the campaign’s slogan, and will be the government’s commitment from now on.

The first goal is to make access to water a basic right that is inherent to human life.

Another aspect that will make Bogotá more humane and inclusive is social housing which will bring low-income families closer to the city center; thus removing them from establishments formed in the periphery and in marginalized areas.

Security must be preventive and must be built on a foundation of respect for life. For this reason, the city proposes to permanently ban the carrying of weapons.

These proposals are just a few of the aspects that will be focused on, which also include themes like education, mobility and the environment.
